Turmeric & Honey Granola
Golden, crunchy Moroccan granola sweetened with honey and infused with warming turmeric. Serve with yogurt and fresh fruit for a healthy, aromatic breakfast.

- 300 gRolled oats
- 100 gBlanched almonds, sliced or chopped
- 75 gPistachios, chopped
- 75 gDried apricots, chopped
- 50 gUnsweetened coconut flakes
- 100 gHoney
- 75 mlCoconut oil or olive oil, melted
- 1.5 tspGround turmeric
- 1 tspGround cinnamon
- 0.5 tspGround ginger
- 0.5 tspSalt
- 1 tspVanilla extract
- 50 gDried cranberries or dates, chopped
Instructions
Prepare oven: Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, sliced almonds, chopped pistachios, chopped dried apricots, unsweetened coconut flakes, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and salt.
Mix wet ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, coconut oil or olive oil, and vanilla extract.
Combine wet and dry: Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and toss until everything is well coated.
Spread on sheet: Spread granola evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden and fragrant. Watch carefully so it doesn't burn.
Cool and add dried fruit: Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes. It will crisp up further as it cools. Stir in chopped dried cranberries or dates once cooled.
Store and serve: Store in an airtight container. Serve with yogurt, milk, or fresh fruit.
