Bastila - Traditional Moroccan Chicken Pie

- 0.5 tspTurmeric
- 100 gPowdered sugar
- 150 gButter, melted
- 4 wholeEggs
- 1 tspCinnamon
- 10Phyllo sheets
- 200 gRoasted almonds
- 2Onions, sliced
- 1 tbspGinger
- 600 gChicken, shredded
Instructions
Cook shredded chicken with onions and spices. Scramble eggs, mix with chicken. Toast almonds. Layer phyllo with butter in round pan, add filling with almonds, fold edges, bake at 180°C for 30-40 min until golden. Dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm.
