Baked Stuffed Apples with Almonds & Orange Blossom
Whole apples roasted until tender and filled with a fragrant mixture of almonds, raisins, and orange blossom water. A warm, elegant dessert that's naturally sweet and aromatic.

- 4Large firm apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 100 gSliced almonds
- 75 gRaisins or dates, chopped
- 3 tbspUnsalted butter, softened
- 2 gHoney
- 1 tbspOrange blossom water
- 0.5 tspGround cinnamon
- 0.25 tspGround ginger
- 1 tspSalt
- 200 mlApple juice or water
- 1 tspOrange zest
Instructions
Prepare apples: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Core apples from the top, leaving the bottom intact to hold the filling. Use a small spoon or melon baller to remove seeds and a bit of flesh.
Make filling: In a small bowl, combine sliced almonds, chopped raisins, softened butter, honey, orange blossom water, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, salt, and orange zest. Mix until well combined.
Stuff apples: Stuff each apple generously with the almond-raisin mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
Arrange in baking dish: Place apples in a baking dish and pour apple juice or water around (not over) them.
Bake: Bake for 35–45 minutes until apples are tender when pierced with a fork and the skin is slightly wrinkled.
Serve: Transfer apples to serving plates and drizzle with the pan juices. Serve warm.
