Chicken Bastilla

  • 600 gchicken breast
  • 12 sheetsphyllo pastry
  • 1 cupblanched almonds
  • 2 largeonion
  • 2 tspground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsppowdered sugar
  • 100 gbutter
  • 0.25 large pinchsaffron threads

Instructions

  1. Poach chicken with saffron and onions; shred and mix with spiced almond crumble.

  2. Brush phyllo with butter and layer in a round pan, adding filling between sheets.

  3. Fold over top layers, brush with butter, and bake at 190°C until deeply golden.

  4. Dust with cinnamon sugar and serve warm.
